Madrid, 13 February 2010 – The Spanish home technology equipment market closed the fourth quarter of the year with a downward trend in turnover of -8.4%. With a total of 4,888 million euro, this decrease in the fourth quarter is milder than the figure for the overall year (-12.6% for year), recording a drop less than two digits for the first time. Only the SDA sector finished on a positive note, thanks to the good behaviour of air conditioning and capsule coffee machines. All other divisions had lesser drops than in other periods, derived from the year of comparison -2008- that already showed negative tendencies.
