Milan, 12 February 2010 - The Italian Technical consumer goods market registers, in this fourth quarter, a turnover of EUR 6 billion (+3.4%). 2009 closes with a negative trend of -3.7% and a cumulative market volume of EUR 19,659 million.
Christmas holidays and the growth of a few products positively affect a market that ended the year negatively in almost all sectors. Consumer electronics show the most relevant increase, positive trend has been registered in Office equipment and Telecom. Major, Small domestic appliances and IT continue to decrease; Photo is the only sector that registers a two digit decrease.
