Santiago, 20 August 2009As a consequence of the crisis the first semester 2009 closed with a sales decrease of 5.9%, the GfK TEMAX index also showed a negative figure for the second quarter of this year (-4.7%).
The markets for consumer electronics, photographics, major domestic appliances, IT, telecommunications and office equipment & consumables turned down. Only small domestic appliances achieved a growth of 0.7%. Office equipment & consumables (-16.2%) and consumer electronics (-10.7%) showed the biggest impacts during the first semester of 2009.
