Moscow, 11 February 2010 – Q4 was the best quarter for Russian technical consumer goods market: Finally the turnover has exceeded the level of the Q1 2009. However 229.569 Mio Rub is still almost 18% below the Q4 2008. New Year and Christmas sales improved the retail situation but the result is far from Q4 2009. Sectors which show the closest result to the level of Q4 previous year are SDA and Photo while Telecommunication and Office Equipment sectors lost more than 30% of Value both vs. Q4 2008 and vs. 2008 Total. Nevertheless after the extremely sharp drop in summer the seasonal trend for year 2009 is coming back to "usual" - just the level is 22% below 2008.
