GfK TEMAX Singapore - Q4 2009

The technical consumer goods markets in the final quarter declined at 4% quarter-on-quarter

Singapore, 15 February 2010 – At S$870 million in the fourth quarter, the market continued to decline, at 4% quarter-on-quarter.
The Information Technology sector for the first time in 2009 suffered a decline. The Telecommunication and Office Equipment markets had double-digit decline while all other sectors managed some growth quarter-on-quarter. The Consumer Electronics and Major Domestic Appliance markets grew for the first time in the year. Year-on-year, the market suffered a 2% decline.
