GfK TEMAX Malaysia - Q4 2009

The Q4 2009 technical consumer goods markets recorded a 8% quarter-on-quarter growth

Malaysia, 15 February 2010 – The quarter four 2009 registered a market value of RM$3.3 billion, an 8% growth from the same quarter a year ago. Quarter-on-quarter performance for the Home Appliance and Office Equipment sectors saw decline while all other sectors grew. The Photo and IT sectors continued their good growth from quarter three with some 20%. Year-on-year, the market marginally made the mark with 1% growth.
