GfK TEMAX Korea - Q4 2009

The last quarter 2009 technical consumer goods market recorded a 3% decline from the Q4 2008

Seoul, 15 February 2010 – The last quarter 2009 recorded a market value of KRW 5.7 trillion, a quarter-on-quarter decline of 3%. Consumer Electronics and Major Domestic Appliances had good quarter-on-quarter growth while Office Equipment continued to be the highest growing sector. The IT and Telecom sectors still experienced quarter-on-quarter double-digit decline; other sectors managed single-digit quarter-on-quarter growth. The year-onyear performance witnessed a 3.6% decline.
