Beijing, 11 February 2010 - The sales of China technology and consumer electronics products in 4th Quarter of 2009 continued the further improve. The Market sales value reached 174.17 billion Chinese Yuan, with 22.1% strong growth compared with the same period of last year. Different product categories tracking in GfK TEMAX® China has various trends. By comparing with same period of last year, small domestic appliance has outstanding performance with value growth of 70% contributed mostly by Air-conditioner. IT and major domestic appliance has 48% and 35.5% growth respectively. Telecom also achieved positive growth of 19.3% in the 4th Quarter. However photo, consumer electronics and office equipments’ sales value all decreased.
