Barry Zimmerman
President

Barry Zimmerman serves as President of GfK Market Measures. Prior to his appointment, Zimmerman served as CEO of NOP World Health (which was acquired by the GfK Group in June of 2005 and renamed as GfK Market Measures) and before that served as CEO of Market Measures/Cozint (which was acquired by NOP World in 2002).

Before coming to NOP World, Zimmerman served as Senior Vice President, Global Account Development at Quintiles. He first joined the Quintiles organization through Innovex, where he was Senior Vice President of Business Development and Marketing.

Zimmerman joined Quintiles from IMS Health, where he spent 18 years, rising from Marketing Consultant to Vice President, Business Development and Global Account Management. At IMS, Zimmerman headed a national sales and service organization. He also originated IMS's executive suite program, covering both US and global applications.

Zimmerman received his Bachelor in Marketing and Economics at Bryant College in Providence. In addition, he earned an MBA at the State University of Albany New York. To improve his expertise, he also attended the General Management Program at the Wharton School of Business in Philadelphia as well as the Pharmaceutical Executive Management Program at Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH.

Jim Callandrillo
Chief Operating Officer

Jim Callandrillo serves as the Chief Operating Officer, responsible for Custom and Syndicated Research as well as all Field and Operations for GfK Market Measures. Prior to becoming COO, he was the Executive Vice President of NOP World Health where he was responsible for Global Market Research for the company’s three business units. Callandrillo brings over 20 years industry experience in custom and multi-client research among both health care professionals and consumers. His research background includes survey design and execution, analytics and forecasting, and strategic planning. In particular, he possesses in-depth experience assisting clients with the issues and research techniques used to understand the intersection between health care professionals and consumers.

Callandrillo is an experienced business manager and has been responsible for all aspects of running a large custom and syndicated research business including directing the activities of sales, research, and operations. He is comfortable with bottom-line financial responsibility, client relationships, and labor management for multi-million dollar research firms.

Prior to joining NOP World Health, Callandrillo was Director, Pharmaceutical Services for The NPD Group (now IPSOS-NPD), a leading consumer research company. His responsibilities included establishing research services, tailored to the pharmaceutical industry that leveraged NPD’s core competencies. This included modifying the firm's cornerstone simulated test-marketing model (ESP) to produce a state-of-the-art forecasting tool for drug product. Callandrillo was instrumental in the development of key products and services like NPD’s ailment sufferer panels and PharmaTrends syndicated pharmaceutical diary study. Callandrillo has also held positions with VNU’s PERQ Research (now HCI-PERQ) and the consulting firm Kline & Company where he ran the company’s pharmaceutical group.


Maureen McLaughlin
Chief Marketing Officer

Maureen McLaughlin has over 20 years of pharmaceutical and healthcare industry experience, including marketing, product development, product management, consulting, sales and sales management.

Presently, McLaughlin is the Chief Marketing Officer of GfK Market Measures as well as heads the practice area for Sales Force Effectiveness. In her role, she is responsible overall for product management, product development, marketing communications, corporate strategy development and alliances, in addition to overseeing the business development function.

Prior to GfK Market Measures, McLaughlin was the Senior Vice President & General Manager of Solucient’s Pharmaceutical Business Unit, where she developed the sector’s business strategy, data acquisition strategy and product development process that resulted in the first, real time, syndicated inpatient drug service, AC Tracker.

Earlier in her career, McLaughlin spent 10 years at IMS HEALTH where she held a variety of senior-level sales, marketing and account management positions. During her tenure at IMS, McLaughlin was instrumental in the launch of Xponent, the physician level prescription service and the refurbishing of the National Prescription Audit (NPA). Other experiences include Head of Sales & Marketing for Clinmark and various sales and sales management positions at Marion Merrell Dow.

McLaughlin holds degrees from both Lafayette College and Villanova University.
