GfK ElectroPanel

The GfK ElectroPanel observes the purchases of electrical appliances among 20,000 private households (26,000 households for selected SDA categories). These households represent the purchase behaviour of all 36,2 Mill. German households.
The GfK ElectroPanel provides you with comprehensive information about quantitative and qualitative aspects of the whole buying process and the socio-demographic and psychographic structure of your customers.
You achieve valuable consumer insights, e.g. from the sources of information used, the brand and outlet decision criteria, brand loyalty, the way of ordering, up to the after-sales services.
The GfK ElectroPanel provides you with several add-on tools, e.g. consumer segmentations, ad hoc surveys among selected target groups, analysis of the media and internet usage of your customers.

GfK OwnershipMonitor Health&Wellness 2009

GfK Living observed the ownership of several health and wellness categories in Germany.
The OwnershipMonitor provides you with valuable information about the penetration of products and brands, the age of the appliances in the households, the outlets, prices, frequency of use and the socio-demographic structure of the owner households.

The survey was conducted among 15.000 private households in August 2009.

Observed categories in the last recent survey:
weather stations, water filters, blood glucose monitors, heart rate monitors, electr. massage appliances, electr. muscle / nerve stimulators, electr. air humidifiers/ dehumidifiers/ cleaners, scales, air condition, wake-up lights/ light therapy appliances, barbecue grills, steamers

GfK OwnershipMonitor international

The GfK OwnershipMonitor international observed the ownership of major and small domestic appliances in central Western and Eastern European markets.
The OwnershipMonitor provides you with valuable information about the penetration of products and brands, the age of the appliances in the households, the outlets, prices and the socio-demographic structure of the owner households.

Elektro-Service-Barometer

The Elektro-Service-Barometer measures the number, type and quality of repairs of major domestic appliances, vacuum cleaners and coffee/ espresso machines.

The survey is based on the entries of 20.000 German households. The reported repairs are representative for all repairs of these appliances in Germany.

You receive comprehensive insights all around the repair process and valuable information for the regulation of your after-sales services.

The Elektro-Service-Barometer provides you with information about the number of repairs for each observed category and the respective brands, the costs, who carried out the repair, the quality of the after-sales service, the purchase of spare parts and other aspects.

GfK Living SustainabilityMonitor Taking into consideration the increasing energy costs and the discussion about carbon-neutral consumers' behaviour, the issue of 'sustainability' gains in importance.
In many categories, key words such as 'energy efficiency' and 'climate protection' become more and more important within the information seeking and purchase process of end-consumers.
Up to now, far too few information is available on which role these issues play for the consumers in different categories and countries and where companies should focus!
GfK Living wants to look into the topic of 'sustainability' to identify the risks, opportunities and challenges for the brand success in the future.
For this purpose, GfK Living run a study among 6.800 respondents in key Western European countries, USA, India, China and Brazil.
